Frequently Asked Questions for Malvern's e-Learning Training Courses
Q: Do I have to take all the courses in one go?
A: No. The courses are designed so that you can start and stop at any point. When you return to the course (hours or days later) you can continue from the point you last left off.
Q: Can I only watch the courses once?
A: You can run through the courses as many times as you want. If you don't understand a section - replay it as many times as you wish.
Q: Do I only have one attempt at the test at the end of each section?
A: Again - No. You can take the tests as many times as you want until you pass. We are only interested that you learn the content - a few people will pass first time, most will need several attempts. Note that the number of attempts does not count against your pass score, so relax and enjoy the course!
Q: How long do I have to take the course?
A: You have open access for 3 months. You are welcome to take the course as many times as you wish in that period. You may find that it would be helpful to take the course again as a "refresher" when you get more experience of using the instrument.
Q: Do I get a certificate when I complete each course?
A: Not for each individual course, one certificate is issued when you complete the group of courses.
Q: What equipment do I need to receive this training?
A: You will need:
- A fast internet connection.
- Web browser (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer v6 or Mozilla Firefox v1 or newer)
- Macromedia Flash Player version 8 or later
- Sound card and speakers or headphones
Q: How do I order and get access?
A: The easiest way to order is via our e-store or alternatively send your order to a Malvern office. Once your order has been accepted, you will be sent a registration form to complete for the individual(s) that will be taking the course. Finally, once we receive your registration form, a training account will be set up and the students will be sent their log in information.
