Viscotek RImax system components
The Viscotek RImax offers a complete conventional calibration GPC/SEC system suitable for all macromolecular application. It consists of the GPCmax integrated solvent and sample delivery module, an RI detector or a UV detector for concentration measurements and the OmniSEC software for easy analysis. The RImax offers a path for upgrading to triple/tetra detection all with a Viscotek system.
The RImax comes with a choice of concentration detector for macromolecular characterization:
- A UV-Vis detector for protein and other applications where the macromolecules contains chromophores.
- A Refractive Index detector for universal concentration detection.
- Comprehensive characterisation of all types of macromolecules - proteins, natural polymers and synthetic polymers
- Relative molecular weight from conventional calibration
- Correct molecular weight through pseudo-universal calibration
- Copolymer, conjugates and blends can be fully characterised with an RI and a UV detector combined
The RImax system consists of the following standard modules:
Detectors and column oven The concentration detector for the RImax can either be the Viscotek RI differentrial refractometer or the Viscotek UV-Vis detector. The powerful PDA/DAD detector can also be used for additional material identification.
GPCmax™ - combined pump, degasser and autosampler The GPCmax is the world’s leading solvent and sample delivery module exclusively for GPC/SEC applications.
