The Zetasizer APS is a robust, simple to operate, Dynamic Light Scattering system that automates measurements of samples in industry standard 96- or 384-well plates to add the power of advanced light scattering analysis to your laboratory.

How do you know if your protein is well-behaved in certain buffers or if it aggregates over time in others? Is your protein still a monomer after thawing or reconstitution after freeze drying? Are your buffer conditions favourable to protein crystallization? The Zetasizer APS enables you to automate your light scattering measurements using 96 or 384 well plates. A range of measurements can be performed on a single plate, and measurements can be repeated to give confidence in the results.

The Zetasizer APS maintains the sensitivity available from the industry-leading batch system, the Zetasizer µV, giving you rapid, accurate and repeatable protein size and derived molecular weight data using a minimum of sample.

The Zetasizer APS uses only a small sample volume, 20µl for each measurement, which can be returned to the well.

A fast, wide-range temperature controller for the measurement cell enables automated temperature trend measurements, to automatically determine the thermal denaturation or melting point for example. The plate holder temperature is controlled separately to ensure your samples are kept at optimal temperature before measurement, and that only one sample at a time is exposed to the temperature designated for the experiment.

The Zetasizer APS has easy-to-use, intuitive software that uses a graphical interface to set up a measurement and view the results. Customize your own reports and set up standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency in measurement procedures regardless of user. It's no wonder this is the most popular DLS software in the world!
